They’re not free from criticism and there’s a lot to learn from their mistakes, but it’s fucking disgusting to join the crowd of racists making fun of subjects of colonial oppression and dehumanisation creating their own sedative. and there’s a giant difference between “this cult group is misguided to the point of hurting its own community” and “these black people are stupid let’s make fun of them”.

Memes about Yakub are satirising and making fun of the beliefs of the nation of Islam (different than regular Islam), a religion who’s main believers are black Americans. There’s a whole rabbit hole of racists making fun of Afro-centrists beliefs.
In this specific post the joke in the post isn’t “haha Lenin kind of looks black” it’s making fun of African-Americans who claim certain historical figures as black, famous examples are Roman emperors of African origins and the ancient egyptians.
The punchline is “these black people are stupid to think they built the pyramids/rome/anything, I bet they think Lenin is black too.”
