oh I agree but that does not mean to be stupid in elections. elections and the system are one part. I thought I made that clear but it maybe two different threads I have been writing with. Don’t skip the elections and don’t make the worse choice but don’t let it end their either. Don’t expect revolution to be a panacea either though. Most revolutions end up with a worse situation than before. Movements, protest, disobedience, are also there and immediately accesible.

project 2025. you give up to easy. things are bad but not trying is not helpful. Democracy is not gone yet and its up to us to bring it back into full force.

I don’t think any economy should be either/or. Things where you can’t really have competition, or just plain don’t, or are just to darn important. Should be state run. Healthcare, education, utilities, infrastructure for sure. Even things done in the private market should be well regulated. You also need a populace where the average have a decent amount of discrecionary income as they need to make decisions on what best to buy, not what they can afford.

This. Hey since we brought in the worse things have gotten worse and even the best part of the worst has gotten worse so lets not get more best parts lets have more worse. Talk about deluded. When it comes to being lucky enough to be born into a democratic society you vote and choose the best option. You don’t limit what you do to voting. Also the primaries this year did decently at least in my area and many are waking up to the importance of the primaries.
