Shannon Hoon had an incredible voice, easy S-tier 90’s rock vocals IMO. His delivery on “I’m not appalled or afraid” is everything to me. Good post.
That band had a lot of range with the mandolin, shout out to that guy. Their song Change would’ve been good to post in the Songs That Make You Cry thread.
Change is a really good song. Hoon was definitely a 90s vocalist. He sang backing vocals for some Guns N Roses songs, Don’t Cry, Live and Let Die, November Rain and a couple others. He really was a 90s S-tier vocal god.
Hell yeah. Change (the song) came back into my life after a long absence as I was going thru some major changes in my life and it resonated pretty hard lol. It’s that kind of song. Knowing there are tons of people who vibe with it like me but for different reasons makes me feel all tingly and sentimental. Beautful music
